What metals can this saw cut?
The ToAuto Metal Cold-Cut Saw is compatible with different materials depending on the blade type:
- Copper/Aluminum Blades: For cutting non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, copper alloys, and aluminum alloys
- Low-Carbon Steel Blades: For cutting ferrous metals such as low-carbon steel, angle iron, channel steel, square tubing, round tubing, and rebar
- Not recommended for cutting: Hard materials such as thick stainless steel and hardened steel (as this wears out the blade quickly and results in low efficiency)
Is the cutting accuracy precise?

No air compressor is needed.
ToAuto features a built-in gravity-fed liquid cooling system, so there is no need to connect to a tap. You simply fill the reservoir with water; once powered on, the system automatically circulates water to cool the blade.
The key advantage of the gravity-fed design is that it utilizes gravity and potential energy difference to prevent backflow, effectively eliminating the risk of coolant leakage caused by backflow at the source.

What kind of motor/spindle is used, and what is its power rating?
ToAuto currently uses a brushless motor. The radial runout accuracy of the spindle (the amount of lateral wobble during rotation) is 0.1 mm, while the precision of the extended rotor reaches 0.01 mm.
It features a rated power of 400 W, a maximum speed of 5,000 rpm, and a torque of 1.1 N·m.
This power configuration is specifically designed for precision cutting at the desktop level; it is not intended for aggressive, heavy-duty stock reduction, but rather for delivering stable, precise, and low-vibration power during fine cutting operations.
What is the machine body made of? Is it stable?
The overall construction features a 304 stainless steel work surface, a galvanized steel body, and integrated injection-molded structural components.

Under normal use, we will provide repair or replacement services for any defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period.

I often cut metal, and I usually use a band saw because that’s the only tool I have in my garage. But with this new cutting machine, the job becomes much easier when I need to remove sprues from metal castings or just cut up scrap metal for melting. The best thing about this machine is that, even though it still uses water as a coolant, it doesn’t spray water everywhere. So I can easily use it indoors, right on my table, without making a mess.
Here's what sold me: it's a wet cut saw. Anyone who's worked in a real machine shop knows flood coolant isn't a luxury — it's why industrial cold saws produce clean edges and blades last forever. Dry "cold cut" saws cook their blades. This keeps the blade at a stable temperature, and I've put probably 200+ cuts through aluminum and brass on the original blade with zero degradation.
The cut is ridiculously clean — no burrs, no discoloration, the edge looks like it was milled. I'm talking about a finish I can go straight to polishing with. And the water cooling? Total game changer. I run this on my workbench inside the house. No sparks flying, no metal dust in the air, no water spraying everywhere. After a session I just drain the basin and wipe the table down. Five minutes, done.The variable speed is the other thing I didn't know I needed. Silver at 2000 RPM, brass a bit higher, slow it down for thinner pieces — the fine mode lets you dial it in 50 RPM at a time. Blade is thin too, so you lose barely any material to the kerf. When you're cutting silver, that matters.If you do any kind of small-scale metalwork, this thing pays for itself fast.
I make stainless steel and brass jewelry, and I was using a dry-cut metal saw before this. Switched to this wet-cut machine and it's night and day. The water cooling means zero heat discoloration on stainless — the cut edge is literally cool to the touch when it comes off. No sparks, no scorch marks, no metal dust coating everything.
